XRP token is still not a stock: how Ripple SEC wonThe decision of US District Judge Torres confirms that Ripple Labs Inc did not violate federal securities law by selling its XRP token on public exchanges. Speculators managed to catch their profit, but the significance of this event is much more serious.Recall: in the US, all assets that are created to attract financing are considered shares. For analysis, the SEC uses the legal Howey test, based on the decision of the US Supreme Court of 1946 (!!).
